Exhibit B-4
CAM TRAQ
Software for Body Worn Video Cameras
Cam TraQ stores and manages body worn camera videos. It can reside on an agency's
own servers or QueTel's Amazon cloud, and allows quick upload and storage of non-
proprietary and some proprietary video files. The software can integrate seamlessly
with Digital TraQ, a full digital evidence management system for still images, videos,
and audio recordings.
Officers use the Cam TraQ Controller utility to send files in an unattended mode (plug
and go), or they can tag files with case number, category, and /or notes, before sending.
The devices connect to a standard USB port on the PC or through a multi- camera
upload panel. The controller copies files quickly to memory and sequentially streams
them to Cam TraQ, at the speed of the network, making cameras available for the next
shift. High priority files can be uploaded immediately for quick review and processing.
Once in the Cam TraQ's storage repository authorized users can easily search for files
using any metadata field. If the user has already tagged a file with a case number, it
can automatically transfer to Digital TraQ, if that application has been paired with Cam
TraQ. If a file was not marked with a case number at upload, the user add a case
number and move it to Digital TraQ.
Security starts at upload. As each file is transferred, the software authenticates that the
copied file is an exact copy of the original. Files are encrypted during transfer. An
encrypted copy of each file is stored for up to seven days on the Controller Utility. From
the point of upload to transfer or deletion, the system keeps a complete chain of
custody.
An administrator can set up who can access files based on their roles, and, even, set up
a role for prosecutor access. For sensitive files the system allows him to restrict who
can access them to a specific individual or group of individuals. In addition the system
provides him a journal of each user log in, each query the user runs, and how many
records were accessed.
Administrators can set automatic retention /deletion dates based on category, type of
file, or crime charge. Authorized users will receive automated alerts for files that are
about to expire and can override their automatic purge and (reset) the retention date to
a future date. Retention dates can be established, so that files associated with
important cases such as homicide or sexual assault can be set with a virtually indefinite
retention date.
What gives Cam TraQ the power unavailable in other video capture software is that it is
an opening to QueTel's TraQ Suite, a complete digital and physical evidence
management system. TraQ provides a range of options to process, analyze and
enhance digital evidence including frame /segment capture, redaction, enhancing copies
of images with built -in tools. Other options provide greater control over management of
the files — controlling prosecutor access, notifying persons of events, and ad hoc
