The Council discussed
reviewing their existing policy for serving on Boards to possibly
not allow someone serving more than two terms on a Board. The
policy now allows a citizen to be reappointed to a Board after a
full term has elapsed. Retiring Board Members may then be appointed
to serve on other Boards as vacancies occur. The Council discussed
excepting retiring Planning Commissioners filling Zoning Commission
vacancies and retiring Zoning commissioners filling vacancies on the
Planning Commission, as they felt it precluded new members from
serving who would bring fresh perspectives to the commissions.

* Mr. Plummer not present at this meeting. Mr. Moore present at
9:07 p.m.
