City Council Meeting Minutes August 18, 2015 <br />for or against Ordinance 2015-31 amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by <br />rezoning lots 5-A and 5-13, McKinley Place Subdivision, Section 3, located on the east <br />side of Sadler Drive, southwest of Wonder World from "PDD" Planned Development <br />District to "OP" Office Professional District for lot 5-A and "MF -24" Multiple -Family <br />Residential District for lot 5-B; and including procedural provisions; and consider <br />approval of Ordinance 2015-31, on the first of two readings. <br />Shannon Mattingly, Director of Planning and Development Services provided a <br />brief presentation to Council. <br />iii 11 INE iiiiiiiii ill V IN ill ill 1111111 11 <br />Prewitt, that Ordinance 2015-31 be approved, on the first of two readings. TOOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments <br />for or against a proposal to set the tax Rate for the 2015 tax year at 53.02 cents on <br />each $100 of taxable value of real and personal property that is not exempt from <br />taxation; levying taxes for the use and support of the Municipal Government of the <br />City for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2015 and ending September 30, 2016; <br />providing a Sinking Fund for the retirement of the bonded debt of the City. <br />Feather Furlbert, Director of Finance, provided a brief presentation to <br />Council. <br />Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Fearing at 7:51 p.m. <br />There being no comments the Mayor closed the Public Fearing at 7:51 p.m. <br />No further action was taken on this item. <br />18. Consider approval of Ordinance 2015-32, on emergency with only one reading, <br />ordering a city election to be held on November 3, 2015; making provisions for <br />conducting the election; and providing an effective date <br />City of San Marcos Page 6 <br />
