City Council Meeting Minutes August 18, 2015 Main Motion: A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Council Member Thomaides, that Ordinance 2015-32 be approved. Motion to Amend: A motion was made by Council Member Prewitt, seconded by Council Member Hughson, that Ordinance 2015-32 be amended by adding the following ballot propositions: Amending the San Marcos City Charter to add a separate section relating to fluoridation of the San Marcos municipal water supply to read as follows: Amending the San Marcos City Charter to add a separate section relating to fluoridation of the San Marcos municipal water supply to read as follows: "The City of San Marcos shall not add, or direct or require its agents to add fluoride in the form of hydrofluorosilicic acid, hexafluorosilicic acid, or sodiuw.
