, -=~ . >-8 ,~- c;- 33 r..y~, ë ~~ W~ --. ~~ ;:!:ß1 .-; u~ '-LJ ~ t.I;)'5 ~!)1 ~ ~þ ORDINANCE 1993- 68 '",""-;a .- ~~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS CHANGING THE NAME FOR BUGG LANE BETWEEN AQUARENA SPRINGS DRIVE AND EAST HOPKINS STREET TO BOBCAT DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on May 11, 1993 the Planning Cornmission of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the narne of Bugg Lane between Aquarena Springs Drive and East Hopkins Street to Bobcat Drive; and, WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning Commission did, on May 11, 1993, approve the request and has recornmended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City; and, WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 2..QJ:h day of ,Tn 1 y , 1993 regarding the request; and, WHEREAS, all requirernents of Chapter 25 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos pertaining to street name changes have been met; now, therefore, ~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the street name for Bugg Lane between Aquarena Springs Drive and East Hopkins Street is changed to Bobcat Drive. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
