DRIVE AND ITS SOUTHERN TERMINUS TO PORTER STREET; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the name change. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Mooney moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1992-1993 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR PERSONNEL IN THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
