<br /> 96 <br />Regular Meeting July 26, 1993 Page 3 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF SOUTH EDWARD GARY STREET BETWEEN <br />EAST MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DRIVE AND ITS SOUTHERN TERMINUS TO <br />PORTER STREET; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the name change. No one did, so Mayor Morris <br />closed the public hearing. Mr. Mooney moved for approval of the <br />Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was <br />read as folJ,.ows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME FOR BUGG LANE BETWEEN AQUARENA SPRINGS <br />DRIVE AND EAST HOPKINS STREET TO BOBCAT DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR <br />PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the name change. No one did: so Mayor Morris <br />closed the public hearing. Mr. Plummer moved for approval of the <br />Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Mooney seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was <br />read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF EAST MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DRIVE <br />BETWEEN SOUTH L.B.J. DRIVE AND C. M. ALLEN PARKWAY TO COMAL <br />STREET; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the name change. No one did, so Mayor Morris <br />closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the <br />Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br />on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1992-1993 <br />FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR PERSONNEL IN THE PLANNING <br />AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />
