Mr. James introduced for consideration the adoption of an Ordinance approving the sale of city owned property to Daniel Aguilar, Jr. The Ordinance was read in its entirety, the caption which follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDI- TIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF LOT THIRTEEN (13) OF BLOCK NO. THIRTY-TWO (32) OF THE SECOND SECTION OF VICTORY GARDENS ADDITION TO SAID CITY, LOCATED IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, TO DANIEL AGUILAR, JR.; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO- TEMPORE TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO DANIEL AGUILAR, JR.; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mrs. Norris moved to adopt the Ordinance and Mrs. Mendez seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, James, Kreczmer, Mendez and Norris. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Cavazos. Mr. James introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second reading amending Sections 29-123 and 29-152(c) of the Code of Ordinances designating additional parking and tow-away zones. Pur- suant to a memorandum from Director of Public Safety, R, E. Minnie, Mr. James moved that the Ordinance be amended on second reading to add Peach Tree Street, South Side, LBJ Drive west to dead end as a de- signated no parking arsa and ~{r. Brwon seconded the motion, which passed Uhanimously. Th~ caption was then read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTIONS 29-123 AND 29-152(c) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ADD SEVEN LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY AT WHICH PARKING SHALL BE PROHIBITED; TO ADD FOUR LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY WHICH SHALL BE DESIGNATED AS TOW-AWAY ZONES AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance on second reading and Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. James introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second reading amending Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances entitled General Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ENTITLED !'GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE" TO INCLUDE "HOME OCCUPATION" AS A SPECIFIC USE ALLOWABLE IN "'R-i' SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICTS," "'TH' TOWNHOUSE RESIDENTIAL DIS- TRICTS,'' "R-2' DUPLEX OR TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICTS" AND "'D' MULTI-FAMILY D~LLING DISTRICTS" AND DECLAR- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Ordinance on second reading and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion., which passed unanimously. Mr. James introduced for consideration an Ordinance on third and final reading amending Chapter 6 entitled Cemeteries of the Code of Ordinances to change fees, the caption which was read as follows:
