69 Regular Meeting October 29, 1981 Page 2 Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration nominations to be sub- mitted to the Hays County Central Appraisal District Board of Review. Mr. William Beare of the Central Appraisal District asked that the Council submit names to be considered by the Hays County Central Appraisal District Board when they meet in January for the Board of Review. Mr. Cavazos moved that the names previously submitted by Council Members be submitted to the Central Appraisal District for the Board of Review. These names are: 1. John W. Fitch, III, 721 Burleson; 2. Lunelle Anderson (Mrs. Carl), 105 W. Mimosa; 3. Annette Williams (Mrs. Charley), 743 Centre; 4. Yancy Yarbrough, 621 W. San Antonio; 5. Betty Wolverton, 827 W. San Antonio; 6. Gerald Farr, 305 Harvard; 7. Martin Juel, 1444 Highland; 8. W. B. Pryatel, 906 Hillyer; 9. Terry Lighthouse, 106 Oakridge; 10. Eugene Turner, 119 E. Hillcrest; 11. William Logan, 112 E. Sierra Circle; 12. Rose Brooks, 308 Magnolia; 13. Nell Burleson, 205 S. Johnson; 14. R. G. Phillips, 620 Franklin; and 15. Don J. Green, 725 Viola. Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council indicated that in the near future they may submit additional names to be considered for the Board of Review. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of payment of the retainage in the amount of $1,957.56 from the 1980-1981 Cemetery Maintenance Contract with A & A Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping. Mayor Craddock moved the payment be made to A & A Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping and Mr. James seconded the motion. Mr. James then moved to amend that $130.00 be withheld from the $1,957.56 to cover the full amount of a permit fee which A & A Lawn Maintenance approved for a non-perpetual burial after an Ordinance was in effect that the permit fee would be $150.00 and A & A Lawn Maintenance had collected only $20.00 on the permit fee in question. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, James, Craddock, Kreczmer, Mendez and Norris. NAY: Cavazos. ABSTAIN: None. The Council then went back to the original motion that the retainage, less $130.00, be paid to A & A Lawn Maintenance, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration an Ordinance on emergency for the sale of property in the Katy Addition to Reed and Company, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF 1.20 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF LOTS 2, 3 AND 8 IN BLOCK 2 OF THE KATY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS TO REED AND COMPANY; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WAR- RANTY DEED TO REED AND COMPANY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mrs. Norris moved for the adoption of the Ordinance and Mr. James se- conded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded:
