Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of a Zoning Or- dinance on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING THREE TRACTS OF LAND DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: (1) FIRST TRACT: 40.16 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. TWO AND BEING A PORTION OF LOT NO. 8 OF THE SHADRACH DIXON SUBDIVISION, FROM "AO" (AGRICUL- TURAL-OPEN SPACE DISTRICT) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DIS- TRICT); (2) SECOND TRACT: 2.59 ACRES OF LAND, BEING A PORTION OF LOT NO. 8 OF THE SHADRACH DIXON SUBDI- VISION, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL-OPEN SPACE DISTRICT) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); AND (3) THIRD TRACT: 19.32 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. TWO AND BEING A PORTION OF LOT NO. 8 OF THE SHADRACH DIXON SUBDIVISION, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL-OPEN SPACE DISTRICT) TO "LI" (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT). Mr. Kreczmer moved for the approval of the Ordinance on second reading and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of awarding the bid on the Redwood Road Water Main Project to CCM Utilities Corpora- tion of New Braunfels, Texas. Mr. Cavazos moved for approval of the award of bid to CCM Utilities Corporation and Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. James moved that the Council recess the Emergency Meeting to go to the Workshop at 6:50 p.m. to hold a discussion and review the Interim Environmental Ordinance and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. At 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Norris moved that Council return to the Emergency Meeting and Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mrs. Mendez moved that Council adjourn at 8:30 p.m. to Executive Ses- sion pursuant to Article 6252-17, §2(e), V.A.C.S., to discuss pending litigation, Cause Nos. 12,642 and 12,641 - Holland Hills, Inc. vs. The City of San Marcos, Et Al, and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. At 8:58 p.m. Mr. Cavazos moved that Council convene the Emergency Meeting and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimous- ly. Mayor Craddock made the announcement that there was no action to be taken or direction to be given in regard to the above Executive Ses- sion.
