122 <br />Regular Meeting <br />December 14, 1981 <br />Page 6 <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- <br />tion, the caption which was read as follows: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS! TEXAS, AUTHORIZING FREE PARKING IN METERED <br />PARKING STALLS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />FROM WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 1981 THROUGH SUNDAY, <br />JANUARY 3, 1982; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mr. James moved for the adoption of the Resolution and Mrs. Norris <br />seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Craddock, Kreczmer and Norris. <br />NAY: None. <br />ABSTAIN: Mendez. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a recommendation made by <br />the Airport Commission pertaining to the Agricultural Lease at the <br />Airport. After some discussion Mrs. Norris moved that the effective <br />lease which expires January 1, 1982 be terminated and a 9-month lease <br />be granted on the same terms and Mr. James seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the Planning <br />Department proposed Fee Schedule, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes. Mrs. Norris moved to approve the Fee Schedule and Mr. James <br />seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br />AYE: Brown, James, Craddock, Kreczmer, Mendez and Norris. <br />NAY: Cavazos. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration direction by given to the <br />City Attorney pertaining to the revision of the City's solicitation <br />ordinance (Chapter 19 of the Code of Ordinances). Mayor Craddock then <br />moved that the City Attorney be instructed to bring the ordinance into <br />conformity with existing federal regulations and Mrs. Norris seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the cancellation or possible <br />rescheduling of the December 28, 1981 Regular Council Meeting. Mr. Cava- <br />zos moved that the meeting be held December 28. <br />Mr. Kreczmer then moved that the meeting be rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. on <br />December 30, 1981 and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed una- <br />nimously. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:21 p.m. on motion of Mrs. Norris and second- <br />ed by Mrs. Mendez. <br />L 101 a14.a, <br />Karl W.
