Section 107.4 a. Permit Fees <br />to read: <br />$200.00 and less <br />$201.00 to $1,000.00 <br />$1,001.00 to $2,000.00 <br />Mr. James seconded the motion. <br />No fee, unless inspection required. <br />$5.00 fee for each inspection shall <br />be charged. <br />$15.00 flat fee. <br />Mr. Brown then moved that Sec. 5.26. Section 106.2A be amended from a <br />$150.00 annual licensing fee to $75.00 and Mr. Cavazos seconded the <br />motion. <br />Mr. Kreczmer then moved that this Ordinance be tabled until the next <br />meeting. There was no second and the motion failed. <br />On roll call of Mr. Brown's motion to amend the licensing fee, the fol- <br />lowing vote was recorded: <br />December 14, 1981 <br />$10.00 flat fee. <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Kreczmer and Mendez. <br />NAY: Craddock and Norris. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br />1 <br /> <br />On roll call of Mr. Kreczmer's motion to amend the permit fees, the <br />Council voted unanimously to amend them as set out above. <br />The Council then voted on the adoption of the Ordinance, which passed <br />unanimously. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of an Ordin- <br />ance on third and final reading establishing a program of emergency <br />management, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PROGRAM OF COMPREHENSIVE <br />EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT WHICH INCLUDES THE MITIGATION, <br />PREPAREDNESS RESPONSE AND RECOVERY PHASES OF CIVIL <br />PREPAREDNESS; CREATING THE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MAN- <br />AGEMENT COORDINATOR; AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF <br />AN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR; PROVIDING THE <br />DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF SAID OFFICES; IDENTI- <br />FYING AN OPERATIONAL ORGANIZATION; GRANTING NECESSARY <br />POWERS TO COPE WITH ALL PHASES OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />WHICH THREATEN LIFE AND PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING COOPERATIVE AND MUTUAL AID <br />AGREEMENTS FOR RELIEF WORK BETWEEN THIS AND OTHER CI- <br />TIES OR COUNTIES AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES; PROHIBIT- <br />ING UNAUTHORIZED WARNING AND ALL-CLEAR SIGNALS; MAKING <br />VIOLATIONS A MISDEMEANOR PUNISHABLE BY FINE NOT TO EX- <br />CEED $200.00; PROVIDING FOR SEPARABILITY AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mrs. Norris moved for the adoption of the Ordinance on third and final <br />reading and Mr. James seconded the motion. <br />Mrs. Norris then moved that the Ordinance be amended to add the wording <br />"or natural disaster'' after the words "or practice enemy attack" in <br />Sec. 7-9 and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimous- <br />ly. <br />The Council then voted on the adoption of the Ordinance, which passed <br />unanimously.
