RESOLUTION NO. 1981-77R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF A STANDARD RENTAL AGREEMENT BE- <br />TWEEN SAID CITY AND EXECUTIVE UNIFORM SERVICE <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FOR THE PROVISION AND <br />CLEANING OF UNIFORMS FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF <br />SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE SAID STANDARD RENTAL AGREEMENT AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> <br />11 <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has a present <br />need for the provision of uniforms for certain city employees <br />and for cleaning services for those uniforms once provided; and, <br />WHEREAS, on November 18, 1981, and November 25, 1981, said <br />City advertised for bids for said services in the San Marcos Daily <br />Record; and, <br />WHEREAS, bids for said services were duly opened at City <br />Hall at 10:00 a.m. on December 2, 1981; and, <br />WHEREAS, George W. goeker, Director of Public Works for the <br />City of San Marcos has recommended that a uniform service contract <br />be awarded to Executive Uniform Service of San Marcos, Texas; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the bid of Executive Uniform Service for the <br />provision of uniforms to certain employees of the City of San <br />Marcos, Texas, and the cleaning thereof be accepted as the lowest <br />responsible bid for said services. <br />PART 2. That the terms and conditions of the Standard <br />Rental Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Exec- <br />utive Uniform Service of San Marcos, Texas, for the provision <br />of uniforms for certain employees of said City and the cleaning <br />of those uniforms, a copy of which is attached hereto and in- <br />corporated herein for all intents and purposes, are hereby approved <br />in all respects. <br />PART 3. That the city manager of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, A.C. Gonzalez, be authorized to execute said Standard Rental <br />Agreement on behalf of said City. <br />PART 4.
