(a) Upon submission of the application for a taxicab driver's permit, a permit shall be issued <br />which shall bear the name, address, signature and photograph of the driver. <br />(b) The permit shall be in effect for the remainder of the calendar year. <br />(Code 1970, § 27-12) <br />Sec. 90.189. Display. <br />Every driver operating pursuant to this article shall post the driver's permit in full view of all <br />passengers while the driver is operating a taxicab. <br />(Code 1970, § 27-13) <br />Sec. 90.190. Failure to comply with laws. <br />Every driver receiving a permit under this division shall comply with all city, state and federal <br />laws. Failure to do so will justify the suspension or revocation of the permit. The police chief <br />shall initiate the revocation or suspension. No permit shall be suspended or revoked unless <br />notice and an opportunity to be heard have been provided the holder of the permit. <br />(Code 1970, § 27-14)
