(f) on the <br />third line to spell "humanely" correctly and on the fifth line to <br />spell "discretion" correctly; and on Pg. 3, Section 3-59(g) on the <br />fifth line to spell "impoundment" correctly and Mr. Moore seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted <br />unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, REVISING INDUSTRIAL WASTE SURCHARGE FEES, PURSUANT TO <br /> THE INDUSTRIAL WASTE DISCHARGE REGULATIONS ARTICLE OF CHAPTER <br /> 30, WATER AND SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL, OF THE SAN MARCOS <br /> CODE OF ORDINANCES; AMENDING SECTION 30-100 BY ESTABLISHING A <br /> FEE FOR SAMPLE COLLECTION; PROVIDING FOR BILLING PROCEDURES; <br /> PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING <br /> ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; <br /> AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Mr. Moore seconded the motion. Mr. Boeker advised the Council <br />this establishes a new fee for the City to perfor~ collection <br />samples. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Moore, Hernandez, Hart, Morris, Kissler. <br /> NAY: None. <br />ABSTAIN: Guerra. <br />(Mr. Guerra present at 7:52 p.m.). <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING THE CURRENT FEE SCHEDULED ORDINANCE AND <br /> ESTABLISHING FEES FOR MINIATURE SWINE, IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER THREE, <br /> ANIMAL AND FOWL, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mr. Moore moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, SETTING THE FEE FOR SAMPLE COLLECTION; PROVIDING FOR <br /> SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING <br /> FOR A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND ESTABLISHING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting held March 1, 1993, reconsideration of a Zoning <br />Ordinance, approval of an Ordinance on second reading, adoption of <br />thirteen Resolutions, approval of two Change Orders, approval of an <br />expenditure in the amount of $1,000.00 from the Tourist Account for <br />the payment of a 10' x 20' Exhibitors Booth space for the Texas <br />Municipal League Conference to be held November 3-6, 1993 in San <br />Antonio, Texas to promote tourism, approval of authorize First <br />Southwest Company to proceed with refunding 1986 Electric Utility <br />System Revenue Bonds and Series 1985 and 1988 General Obligation <br />Bonds on consensus. The city Council removed Item 6.D. (4) to be <br />considered separately. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the <br />minutes of the Regular Meeting held March 1, 1993, approval of the <br />
