Hopkins <br />630 East Hopkins <br />San Marcos, TX 78666 <br />City Council Chambers <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, <br />2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Prather was absent due to traveling for business. <br />Present: 6 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan <br />Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Shane Scott, Council Member Lisa Prewitt <br />and Council Member Jane Hughson <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Pro -Tem Jude Prather <br />MIA aTlifff <br />III. Invocation <br />A moment of silence was observed. <br />IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />Pledges were led by City Manager Jared Miller. <br />V. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br />Rob Roark, addressed the Council on behalf of the Blanco River Recovery <br />Team (BR3) Board to inform the County of the partners World Renew coming <br />to town to meet the unmet needs of the citizens impacted by the Flood. They <br />would like help getting the word out because these folks will be helping people <br />assisted or not assisted by FEMA. They will be working with many partner <br />organizations. They will also be having people going out into the <br />neighborhoods to help people as well. He encouraged people to come down to <br />the Dunbar center or intake center for more information. <br />Jon Stark, stated his discontent of The Woods apartment complex and the <br />garbage being placed on the property he lives on, and the verbally abusive <br />City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
