Call To Order <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting oft the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:34 p.m. Monday, November 2, <br />2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopis, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />Present: 5 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br />Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson <br />III. Invocation <br />A moment of silence was observed. <br />Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />Pledges were led by Bri'yanna Padron a 6th Grade student <br />Preparatory School-San Marcos. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />1. 5:30PM <br />Executive Session in accordance with Section §551.072 of the Texas Government <br />Code: Real Property - to deliberate regarding the possible acquisition of real property <br />located east of Interstate 35 and south of River Road; and in accordance with Section <br />§551.087 of the Texas Government Code: Economic Development - to deliberate the <br />offer of an incentive for Project Sundial. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem <br />Scott, to adjourn into Executive Session at 8:04 p.m.. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern Thomaides, Scott, Council Member Prather, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Thomason <br />2.
