Tuesday, November 17, 2015 5:30 PM City Council Chambers <br />With a quorum present, the workshop meeting oft the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 12:06p.m. Friday, November 13, <br />2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />111l:Z•11[*:111 <br />Present: 7- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br />Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, <br />Council Member Melissa Derrick and Council Member Scott Gregson <br />III. Invocation <br />Minister Scottie sMarcos Unitarian Universalist, <br />provided invocation. <br />IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />Pledges were led by Hannah WiUlams, a 5th grade student at Texas <br />School -San Marcos. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />1. 5:30PM <br />Executive Session in accordance with Section §551.072 of the Texas Government <br />Code: Real Property - to deliberate regarding the possible acquisition of real property <br />located northwest of San Marcos for park purposes. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem <br />Prewitt, to ajourned into Executive Session at 5:36 p.m. The motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy <br />Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and <br />Council Member Gregson <br />Against: 0 <br />2.
