FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE SPORTS PROGRAM <br /> <br />The Commission recommends that the City support the <br />Fraternal Order of Police youth program, assisting with <br />the use of facilities and paying for officiating. An <br />amount of $5,000 per year should be set aside ~s funding <br />for the F.O.P. Sports Program. <br /> <br />*SEE ATTACHMENT F <br /> <br />3. YOUTH ACTIVITY CENTER <br /> <br />The Commission recommends that the City of San Marcos <br />provide a youth center for all students to use for <br />recreational and educational purposes. <br /> <br />*SEE ATTACHMENT G <br /> <br />4. A CONTINUATION OF YOUTH COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mayor's Commission on Youth recommends that we keep <br />an ongoing youth commission in San Marcos. We recommend <br />the establishment of a permanent Mayor's Commission on <br />Youth to serve as a liaison with the city/students and <br />businesses. The commission would be used by the youth <br />as a vehicle for their needs and their views. <br /> <br /> <br />5.
