Call To Order <br />.s <br />With or resent, the regular meeting of a San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, <br />2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 7 <br />Council Member Prather arrived after roll call at approximately . <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br />Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, <br />Council Member Melissa Derrick and Council Member Scott Gregson <br />' 1 i. Invocation <br />Pastor Dennis Spire, of Calvary Baptist Church, rvi e this evening's <br />invocation. <br />IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />Jocelyn Rodriguez, 4th grade student at Texas Preparatory School, led this <br />evening's invocation. <br />6:00 PM <br />V. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br />Lisa Marie Coppoletta, spoke about the Lone Star Rail Project and hoped that <br />they would do a shovel test prior to the development of the railroad. She also <br />spoke about the Blanco Gardens street issues due to the flooding and how the <br />project is on the CIP list, but believes it should be done sooner. She also spoke <br />about the FEMA money being released. She asked the Council to please <br />consider an opt out program for the Smart Meter Program. <br />Rob Roark, addressed the City Council regarding his thankfulness. He's <br />thankful to live in San Marcos, thankful for all of the great faces around the <br />dais, thankful for Ms. Coppoletta coming to speak.
