a. Pre - Construction Meeting: Assist the City in conducting pre - construction conference with the <br />Contractor. Prepare project meeting notes. (1 total) <br />b. Construction Site Visits /Construction Progress Meetings: Make up to ten (10) site visits (not <br />including punchlist meeting and final completion site visit) during the course of construction <br />to observe the progress and the quality of work and to determine in general if the work is <br />proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. If Freese and Nichols is requested to <br />visit the site more frequently, the requested visits shall be considered an Additional Service <br />and Freese and Nichols shall be entitled to additional compensation. FNI will attend monthly <br />progress meetings, however, meeting agendas and notes will be prepared by others. <br />c. Punchlist Meeting: Conduct, in company with City's representative, a final review of the Project <br />for conformance with the design concept of the Project and general compliance with the <br />Construction Contract Documents. Prepare a list of deficiencies to be corrected by the <br />contractor before recommendation of final payment. (1 total) <br />d. Final Completion Site Visit: FNI will make one visit to the site to verify that punchlist items have <br />been addressed. FNI will document any items not completed. (1 total) <br />2. Construction Phase Services: <br />a. Establish and maintain a project documentation system consistent with the requirements of <br />the construction Contract Documents. <br />b. Monitor the processing of contractor's submittals and provide for filing and retrieval of project <br />documentation. <br />c. Produce monthly reports indicating the status of all submittals in the review process. <br />d. Review contractor's submittals, including: <br />1) Requests for information <br />2) Modification requests <br />3) Shop drawings <br />4) Schedules <br />5) Certified test reports <br />6) Othersubmittals <br />7) Excessive submittal review shall be considered reviewing any submittal more than twice and <br />shall be considered an additional service, unless it is caused in some part by FNI. <br />e. Monitor the progress of the Contractor in sending and processing submittals to see that <br />documentation is being processed in accordance with schedules. <br />f. Notify City of Contractor's non - conforming work observed on site visits. Review quality related <br />documents provided by the contractor such as test reports, equipment installation reports or <br />other documentation required by the Construction Contract Documents. <br />g. Interpret the drawings and specifications for City and Contractor. Investigations, analyses, and <br />studies requested by the Contractor and approved by City, for substitutions of equipment and /or <br />materials or deviations from the drawings and specifications is an additional service. <br />h. The Contractor will be responsible for construction materials testing as part of the construction <br />contract. The Contractor will coordinate the work of testing laboratories, witnessed tests, factory <br />testing, etc. for quality control of the Project.
