""""WI'Y.", ¡ <br /> , 1i'4A.."'- )f..,,-RCOS ¡ <br /> <br /> SAN MARCOS CITY COUNCIL <br /> Fiscal Year 1992-1993 <br /> MISSION STATEMENT <br /> The mission of the city of San Marcos is to assure the <br />residents of the city a sense of community, safety and <br />neighborhood integrity by providing needed municipal services, <br />fiscal responsibility and policy planning for the future. In <br />addition, the city shall promote flexibility in public/private <br />partnerships, sound economic development, intergovernmental <br />cooperation and protection of our natural resources and the <br />environment. <br /> In compliance with the City Charter, the San Marcos City <br />Council presents the following policy statement for use by the <br />City Manager in the preparation of the proposed Fiscal year <br />1992-1993 Budget. <br /> Policy Statement <br /> <br />1. Provide City Services in a professional, courteous and <br /> efficient manner. <br />2. Develop safe and adequate water supplies and expand <br /> delivery of City water service. Employ conservation and <br /> water resource management techniques. <br />3. Deliver the highest possible quality of wastewater <br /> treatment and promote the reuse of treated wastewater, and <br /> expand delivery of City wastewater service. The long-term <br /> goal is to build a tertiary treatment plant. <br />4.
