49 Regular Meeting June 8, 1992 Page 3 Mr. Hart introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM PERMANENT OPEN SPACE FLOODPLAIN AND/OR FLOODPLAIN TO COMMERCIAL FOR 3.9 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE #1 IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 1701 HUNTER ROAD AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Hart opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the Resolution. No one spoke. Mr. Hart closed the public hearing. Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. Hart introduced for consideration adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING LOT 73 OF THE SOUTH END ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 55, PAGE 601 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT 701 GEORGIA STREET FROM "M" SINGLE FAMILY, DUPLEX, AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "P" PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
