Mr. Hernandez moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Moore seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. Hart introduced for consideration adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING 5.0 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE #1 IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 112, PAGE 330 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT 1701 HUNTER ROAD FROM "PD" PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO "C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
