Mr. Plummer moved for adoption of <br />the Zoning Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX G, HISTORICAL ZONING ORDINANCE, OF THE <br />SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO DECREASE THE TERMS OF OFFICE <br />AND TO STAGGER THE TERMS OF MEMBERS OF THE CITY HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING <br />ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mr. Moore moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1991-1992 <br />FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDING FOR <br />THE IH-35 UTILITY RELOCATION PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting held July 27, 1992, approval of two Ordinances <br />on second reading, adoption of three Ordinances on third and final <br />reading, adoption of three Resolutions, authorization to receive <br />bids/notices of sale (1) for part of Lot 24 in the Weatherford <br />Subdivision No.2 (614 Knox), and (2) for Lots 2 and 3, Block 15, <br />Rio vista Terrace #3 (corner of Houston and Bugg Lane), and approval <br />to ratify Change Order No. 4 to Spring Lake Pump station Project <br />Contract in an increased amount of $24,791.00 on consensus. Ms. <br />Kissler moved for approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />held July 27, 1992 (Mayor Morris abstaining), for approval of the <br />two Ordinances on second reading, for adoption of the three <br />Ordinances on third and final reading, for adoption of the three <br />Resolutions, for authorization to receive bids/notices of sale on <br />the two parcels of land, and for approval to ratify Change Order No. <br />4 to the Spring Lake Pump station Project Contract on consensus and <br />Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
