Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX G, HISTORICAL ZONING ORDINANCE, OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES TO DECREASE THE TERMS OF OFFICE AND TO STAGGER THE TERMS OF MEMBERS OF THE CITY HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 27, 1992, approval of two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of three Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of three Resolutions, authorization to receive bids/notices of sale (1) for part of Lot 24 in the Weatherford Subdivision No.2 (614 Knox), and (2) for Lots 2 and 3, Block 15, Rio vista Terrace #3 (corner of Houston and Bugg Lane), and approval to ratify Change Order No. 4 to Spring Lake Pump station Project Contract in an increased amount of $24,791.00 on consensus.
