STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Project Name: San Marcos Five Mile Dam Park Solar — Contract No.
3.4.1. Mounting Hardware — LCRA shall utilize specialized aluminum and set screw block clamps to
mount PV array to roof structure. These clamps are designed to be non - penetrating, and will not
void the roofing manufacturer's warranty.
3.4.2. Racking System Rails — with the clamps in place, the extruded aluminum racking system rails will be
bolted directly to the block clamps.
3.4.3. PV Module Installation — with the racking system installed, each module is wired, clamped and
bolted in place.
3.4.4. Balance of System (BOS) Installation
3.4.4.1. Conduits and junction boxes on the roof shall be attached using the same clamps used for the
racking system rails.
3.4.4.2. Conduit shall be routed from the PV array, off the roof and down the exterior of the west wall
to a wall mounted PV DC disconnect switch. This switch will be located adjacent to the
building's main service disconnect.
3.4.4.3. A hole will be created to allow conduit to pass through the west wall into the building
electrical utility room.
3.4.4.4. In the electrical utility room, an additional DC disconnect shall be installed along with the
system inverter and AC disconnect.
3.4.4.5. The inverter output shall interface with the grid at the building main electrical service panel via
a dedicated subpanel, also located in electrical utility room.
3.4.5. Commissioning
3.4.5.1. System shall be commissioned upon completion of installation. Commissioning includes
insulation resistance tests, wiring continuity checks, operational electrical parameter
measurements, and monitoring system setup.
3.4.6. Inspection
3.4.6.1. A third -party inspection firm shall inspect and assess the system's completeness and
compliance with NEC 2011 requirements.
3.4.6.2. LCRA shall provide a copy of the final inspection report to San Marcos.
