[14wCY.W�IFR•<ON NIT SEAYK[5 <br />STATEMENT OF WORD (SOW) FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br />Project Name: San Marcos Five Mile Dam Park Solar — Contract No. <br />EXHIBIT A — DESIGN AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />City Of San Marcos <br />5 Mile Dam Park <br />20kW Photovoltaic System Installation Project <br />Purpose: <br />1.1. The purpose of this document is to detail the areas of responsibility of LCRA during the preparation, <br />execution and close out of the roof - mounted, 20kW photovoltaic (PV) system project at Five Mile Dam <br />Park, City of San Marcos (San Marcos), TX. <br />Areas of responsibility: <br />2.1. Project Design — Project design shall be provided by LCRA. LCRA shall design a complete and code - <br />compliant PV system to be installed on the main building at Five Mile Dam Park. <br />2.1.1. Design shall detail electrical schematics, electrical one - lines, mechanical layouts, mechanical <br />assembly and system interfaces with existing equipment/structures. <br />2.1.2. A "turnover package" shall be provided upon project completion that details all system components, <br />care and maintenance recommendations, and contact information for technical support. <br />2.2. Material Procurement— The specification, procurement and delivery of all materials related to the project <br />will be the responsibility of LCRA. LCRA shall invoice material costs to San Marcos. San Marcos is <br />responsible for material costs. <br />2.3. Project Execution — <br />2.3.1. LCRA shall provide labor, site supervision, system commissioning and system inspection. <br />2.3.2. LCRA shall be responsible for site safety requirements. Site safety requirements shall in on <br />accordance with LCRA safety policy. LCRA shall coordinate with San Marcos should any <br />additional safety measures be required. <br />2.4. Scaffolding Equipment — Should the need for additional roof access be required beyond what is possible <br />with personal fall - arrest systems, San Marcos shall be responsible for providing a scaffolding system <br />suitable to complete work in a safe manner. LCRA shall coordinate with San Marcos to specify <br />scaffolding requirements. <br />3. Project Execution Description <br />3.1. Daily Safety Briefs — Each day of planned construction shall begin with a safety briefing which shall <br />discuss planned events for the day, special hazards or unusual site conditions, and emergency procedures. <br />Meeting shall be conducted by site construction supervisor and attendance will be required by all workers <br />who will be on site for that day. <br />3.2. Material Laydown — San Marcos shall provide a protected laydown area to temporarily store project <br />materials before their use. <br />3.3. Installation description — No roof penetrations shall be made. All electrical conduit shall be routed and <br />supported in accordance with NEC 2011 requirements. <br />3.4. PV Array — All work performed on the roof structure shall be completed in accordance with LCRA safety <br />policies. Fall protection shall be used when required. <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
