Call To Order <br /> With a quorum present,the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br /> was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday,January 5, 2016 <br /> in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Council Member Derrick arrived after roll call at 5:35 p.m. <br /> Present: 7- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br /> Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, <br /> Council Member Melissa Derrick and Council Member Scott Gregson <br /> ill. Invocation <br /> Pastor John McComb of San Marcos Community Church provided this <br /> evening's invocation. <br /> IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br /> Council Member Hughson led the pledges. <br /> PRESENTATIONS <br /> 1. Receive an update and presentation from Denise Blok, Executive Director of the Hays <br /> County Food Bank, on the 9th annual Turkeys Tackling Hunger campaign, and <br /> provide direction to Staff. <br /> Denise Blok, Executive Director of the Hays County Food Bank, provided a <br /> brief update on the 9th annual Turkeys Tackling Hunger campaign. <br /> 2. Receive a presentation from Halff & Associates on the 2-Dimensional Modeling of the <br /> 2015 Memorial Day Flood, and provide direction to Staff. <br /> Mike Moya, of Halff and Associates, led a presentation regarding the results of <br /> the 2-Dimensional modeling of the 2015 Memorial Day Flood. The presentation <br /> indicated that the Memorial Day Flood exceeded the current 100-yr FEMA as <br /> City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
