Mr. Hernandez moved for adoption of the <br />Resolution and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING <br />BLOCK 6, LOT 2 OF THE BLANCO GARDENS SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 1, PAGE 1 OF THE HAYS <br />COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, LOCATED AT 1302 BARBARA DRIVE, FROM "R-1" <br />(SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [LOW DENSITY]) AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the zoning amendment. No one did, so Mayor <br />Morris closed the public hearing (Mr. Guerra present at this time - <br />7:48 p.m.). Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion. It was consensus of the Council to <br />reimburse the $75.00 fee paid by the applicant, J. C. Shore.
