101 Regular Meeting November 9, 1992 Page 2 closed the public hearing. Mr. Hernandez moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING BLOCK 6, LOT 2 OF THE BLANCO GARDENS SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 1, PAGE 1 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, LOCATED AT 1302 BARBARA DRIVE, FROM "R-1" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [LOW DENSITY]) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the zoning amendment. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing (Mr. Guerra present at this time - 7:48 p.m.). Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. It was consensus of the Council to reimburse the $75.00 fee paid by the applicant, J. C. Shore. On roll call for adoption of the Ordinance, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Moore, Hernandez, Hart, Morris, Kissler, Plummer. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Guerra. Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the zoning amendment. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. 2, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT 12.81 ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO BIMMS INVESTMENTS, A TEXAS GENERAL PARTNERSHIP, BY RUTH EVANS BY DEED DATED OCTOBER 10, 1983 AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 404, PAGE 693, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT 1200 STATE HIGHWAY 80, FROM "PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
