<br /> 36 <br /> Regular Meeting November 13, 1995 Page 2 <br /> Mr. Mooney introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br /> adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as <br /> follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING <br /> A 3.864 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5700 IH35 . SOUTH, FROM <br /> "AR" (AGRICULTURE RANCH DISTRICT) TO "I" (INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT) <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Mooney opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br /> speak. No one did, so Mr. Mooney closed the public hearing. Mr. <br /> Moore moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Cox <br /> seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mr. Mooney introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br /> approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was <br /> read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF HUTCHISON STREET TO RIO VISTA <br /> STREET BETWEEN HAYNES STREET AND IH35 NORTH; PROVIDING FOR <br /> PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> { <br /> Mr. Mooney opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br /> speak. No one did, so Mr. Mooney closed the public hearing. No one did, so Mr. Mooney closed the public hearing. Mr. <br /> Hart moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. <br /> Moore seconded the motion. Mr. Patterson advised the neighbors had <br /> requested the street name change. The Council voted unanimously for <br /> approval of the Ordinance on first reading. <br /> Mr. Mooney introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on <br /> emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1994-1995 <br /> FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FOR END-OF-YEAR RECONCILIATION OF <br /> REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> Mr. Hart moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. <br /> Moore seconded the motion. Since there were only four Council <br /> Members present and emergency passage would require five votes of <br /> approval, Mr. Hart amended his motion to approve the Ordinance on <br /> first reading and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed ¡ . <br /> unanimously. At the next meeting the City Council can consider <br /> adoption of the Ordinance on emergency if five or more members are <br /> present. <br /> Mr. Mooney introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on <br /> emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 21, PUBLIC SAFETY, OF THE SAN MARCOS <br /> CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO CHANGE ASSIGNMENT PAY FOR POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT FIELD TRAINING OFFICERS AND K-9 HANDLERS FROM A PER <br /> SHIFT BASIS TO A MONTHLY BASIS AND TO PROVIDE ASSIGNMENT PAY <br /> FOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATORS IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; INCLUDING <br /> PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />
