Mr. Moore moved to appoint Myrtle Barber to represent RSVP and Mr. Hernandez moved to appoint Grace Camacho to represent the Hispanic Community¡ which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance ,-'. on first reading¡ the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS¡ TEXAS¡ AMENDING CHAPTER 2¡ ARTICLE IX¡ OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES¡ TO RENAME THE SUNSET ADVISORY COMMISSION AS THE CITIZEN REVIEW COMMISSION AND TO EXCLUDE FROM THE COMMISSION¡S REVIEW PROCESS CERTAIN CITY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS; INCLUDING PROCED~L PROVISIONS AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mr. Moore moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Mooney seconded the motion¡ which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration reconsideration of two Zoning Ordinances. The Council did not wish to reconsider either of these Ordinances. The captions of the Ordinances read as follows: i AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS¡ TEXAS¡ AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.78 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2050 I.H.35 SOUTH¡ FROM "I" (INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS¡ TEXAS¡ AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.9 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2517 I .H. 35 SOUTH¡ FROM "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) TO "LI" (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE: Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 9¡ 1995¡ adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading¡ adòption of three Resolutions and approval of an expenditure from the Tourist Account in the amount of $225.00 for accommodations for the Dallas CVB Chair while attending TAMACC Meeting in San Marcos the weekend of November 17¡ 1995¡ for the purpose of promoting tourism to San Marcos¡ on consensus. . The Council removed Item 7.C. (1) ¡ adoption of a Resolution¡ to be considered separately. Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 9¡ 1995¡ adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading¡ adoption of the remaining two Resolutions and approval of the expenditure of $225.00 from the Tourist Account on consensus and Mr. Cox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS¡ TEXAS¡ COMBINING THE COMMISSION FOR MINORITIES¡ COMMISSION FOR WOMEN¡ SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD AND FAIR HOUSING COMMISSION INTO A NEW HUMAN DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
