ENERGY M.ANAGEMEN r REPORT SEPTEMBER 2005 CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />HVAC SYSTEM RETROFITS <br />Replace existing HVAC units with new high efficiency units at the facilities indicated in the <br />table below. The existing systems are inefficient, beyond their economical life and require <br />extensive maintenance. <br />Library - The units to be replaced consist of 7 packaged rooftop units totaling approximately <br />61 tons. <br />a City Hall - The units to be replaced consist of 2 packaged rooftop units totaling <br />approximately 15 tons. <br />Municipal Building - The units to be replaced consist of 2 Split-DX systems totaling <br />approximately 50 tons. This estimate consists of replacing the existing system with 2 <br />condensing units and 2 air-handling units equipped with VFD's.
