Call To Order <br /> With a quorum present,the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br /> was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, <br /> 2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Council Member Hughson was out due to recent surgery. <br /> Present: 6- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br /> Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Melissa Derrick and <br /> Council Member Scott Gregson <br /> Absent: 1 - Council Member Jane Hughson <br /> it I. Invocation <br /> A moment of silence was observed. <br /> IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br /> Kira Jackson-Evans, a 3rd grade student from the Texas Prepatory School-San <br /> Marcos, led the pledges. <br /> PRESENTATIONS <br /> 1. Receive a presentation from Mayor Steve Thurber of the City of Wimberley to express <br /> appreciation for the help received with their recovery following the Memorial Day <br /> Flood. <br /> Mayor Steve Thurber of the City of Wimberley thanked the Council and City <br /> of San Marcos for help that they received during the flood and presented the <br /> Council with a memorial flag, "Wimberley Strong". <br /> 2. Receive a Staff report on the first year of Fire Recovery activity and metrics, and <br /> provide direction to Staff. <br /> Chief Les Stephens provided the Council with an update on the first year of <br /> City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
