City Council <br />Meeting Minutes October 20, 2015 <br />Community Commercial District, "NC" Neighborhood Commercial District and "P" <br />Public and Institutional District; approving planned development district standards for <br />the district; including procedural provisions; and providing for penalties. <br />Main Motion: a motion was made by Council Member Prewitt, seconded by <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, to approve Ordinance 201542 <br />Motion to amend: a motion was made by Council Member Thomaides, <br />seconded by Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, to amend Ordinance 201542 by <br />including in Section 12.9 that covenants conditions and restrictions shall be <br />recorded and include a reference to the City's occupancy restrictions within <br />single family zoned property. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7- Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, Council Member Prewitt <br />and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Motion to amend: a motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, that Ordinance 2015-42 be amended by <br />amending Section 4 to change the effective date to October 26, 2015. The <br />motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Prather and Council Member <br />Prewitt <br />Against: 1 - Council Member Hughson <br />Motion to amend: A motion was made by Council Member Hughson, <br />seconded by Council Member Prewitt, that Ordinance 201542 be amended to <br />include changes regarding Street Trees to state "On single family lots 40 feet in <br />width or less, two shade trees are required per lot by Section 6.1.1.4 (d) (1); one <br />of these trees may count towards the one required street tree. One street tree <br />will be required per lot for all lots 40 feet or less throughout the entire <br />subdivision." The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, Council Member Prewitt <br />and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Main Motion: to approve Ordinance 2015-42 as amended.
