City of San Marcos <br />Water Reuse System <br />Asset Management Plan <br />1.3 Organization of the San Marcos Asset Management Plan <br />The AMP is presented in seven sections which follow this Section 1 Introduction. These <br />sections are: <br />1. Asset Management Approach — provides an introduction to asset management <br />concepts and the approach undertaken in this plan <br />2. San Marcos Reuse System Inventory — summarizes the water reuse system <br />asset inventory for the San Marcos system <br />3. San Marcos Reuse System Condition Assessment — provides a summary of the <br />staff condition assessment and system performance data <br />4. San Marcos Reuse System Risk Assessment — presents the detailed results of <br />the asset risk analysis to prioritize assets for further investigation <br />5. State of the Assets - summarizes the system inventory, condition assessment, and <br />risk analysis and long -term investment forecast. <br />6. Asset Management Implementation — identifies information systems, policies, and <br />business processes to support implementation of the asset management program <br />at San Marcos <br />7. Asset Investment Plan — summarizes the investment requirements for existing <br />system assets including a long term sustainable renewal forecast. <br />February 2016 Page 5 <br />
