(3) Mayor Morris stated the Council will hear CDBG funding <br />requests on April 4, and if another Workshop is needed, it will be <br />scheduled April 11. (4) Mayor Morris asked for the Animal Shelter <br />schedule and an update to be provided. She wants to know what it <br />would take to improve the existing building or to build a new one, <br />and does the City have a location we can locate the new building on. <br />(5) Mayor Morris advised the Mayor and delegates from Santiago, <br />Mexico will be here next week and passed out a tentative schedule <br />for their two-day stay. (6) The City Council tentatively agreed to <br />meet in a Quarterly Workshop on Thursday afternoon, June 1, and all <br />day Friday, June 2. <br />Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the <br />Government Code, Section 551.071, to discuss pending litigation <br />(Sierra Club-vs. Babbitt) and Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to <br />discuss purchase of real property. Mr. Mooney moved to adjourn into <br />Executive Session at 9:41 p.m. and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Guerra moved the Council reconvene at 10:24 p.m. and Mr. Moore <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Hernandez <br />and seconded by Mr. Hart. <br />[?-A ?, V\Nan? <br />Billy G.
