Call To Order <br /> With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br /> was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in <br /> the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Present: 7- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br /> Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, <br /> Council Member Melissa Derrick and Council Member Scott Gregson <br /> III. Invocation <br /> A moment of silence was observed. <br /> IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br /> Jacinda Waldrop, a 6th grade student from the Texas Prepartory School, led <br /> this evenings pledges. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> 1. 5:30PM Executive Session in accordance with Section §551.087 of the Texas <br /> Government Code: Economic Development - to deliberate the offer of an incentive for <br /> Project Ultra. <br /> The Council did not adjourn into Executive Session. <br /> 2. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br /> There was no direction provided since the Council did not adjourn into <br /> Executive Session. <br /> 6:00 PM <br /> `f. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br /> Greg Clayton, addressed the Council regarding the leash law that is currently <br /> in effect and stated that he would like the Council to reconsider the leash <br /> City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
