<br />Ms. Hudman was reappointed and Mr. Cordon was appointed to serve on

<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of three
<br />appointments to the Historic Preservation Commission. Mr. Moore
<br />moved to reappoint Merry FitzPatrick, reappoint Tom Arledge and
<br />appoint Nancy Croft (design field), which passed unanimously.

<br />appointments to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Mr. Moore t
<br />moved to reappoint Dave Herrington, reappoint Nina pryatel and
<br />appoint Greg Davis; Mr. Mooney moved to appoint Cathy Dillon; Mr.
<br />Hart moved to appoint Brad smith; Mayor Morris moved to appoint Rick
<br />Travis; and Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Gloria Pimentel. On roll

<br />Mr. Dave Herrington was reappointed, Mrs. Nina Pryatel was
<br />reappointed, Mr. Brad Smith was appointed, Ms. Gloria Pimentel was
<br />appointed and Mr. Rick Travis was appointed as the five appointments
<br />to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

<br />appointments to the Senior citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Moore moved
<br />to appoint Marjorie Johnson and Mayor Morris moved to appoint Patti í
<br />Haynes, which passed unanimously. The Council will schedule a ì
<br />third appointment at the next meetin~. ¡

<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of three
<br />appointments to the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Moore moved
<br />to appoint Bill Plummer, Mayor Pro Tem, Mr. Hart moved to appoint
<br />Frances Emery as the Arts appointment and Mayor Morris moved to
<br />appoint Mo Johnson, which passed unanimously (see minutes of January
<br />24 for replacement of Mrs. Emery).

<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one
<br />appointment to the San Marcos Electrical Board to complete a
<br />vacancy. Mayor Morris moved to appoint James Clay Walls, a Master
<br />Electrician, which passed unanimously.

<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance
<br />on emergency, the caption which was read as follows:
<br />
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1993-1994
<br />FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR A COPYING MACHINE FOR THE
<br />MAIN STREET PROJECT OFFICE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

<br />Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr.
<br />Hart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. r-

<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance'
<br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows:

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX C - SUBDIVISIONS OF THE SAN MARCOS
<br />CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REVISING THE DEFINITION OF SUBDIVISION,
<br />AND ADDING A RESTRICTION ON THE DEPTH OF LOTS AND BY MAKING
<br />OTHER CLARIFYING REVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
<br />REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY;
<br />PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
