<br />27 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />November 14, 1994 <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the <br />Government Code, section 551.071, to discuss pending litigation <br />(Sierra Club vs. Babbitt; MacKenzie vs. City of San Marcos; ortiz <br />vs. City of San Marcos; Sharp vs. civil Service Commission) and <br />matters where the city Attorney's ethical duty to the city clearly <br />conflicts with Government Code Chapter 551; sections 551'.072 and <br />551.073 to discuss purchase of real property; and section 551.074 to <br />discuss evaluations of public employees (city Attorney, city <br />Secretary). Mr. Guerra moved to adjourn into Executive Session at <br />9:42 p.m. and Mayor Morris seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Hernandez moved to reconvene at 12:14 a.m. and Mr. Hart seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris'introduced for consideration approval to set salaries <br />for the City Manager, Municipal Court Judge, city Attorney and city <br />Secretary.
