1.0.5 The Consultant will not subcontract any work under this Agreement without prior written <br />approval from the City. The Consultant will specify any work or services subcontracted under this <br />Agreement by separate written Agreements and those Agreements will be subject to each provision <br />of this Agreement. <br />1.0.6 Any provisions in this Agreement pertaining to the City's review, approval and/or <br />acceptance of written materials prepared by the Consultant and/or its subconsultants, contractors, <br />and subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not diminish the Consultant's <br />responsibility for the materials. <br />1.0.7 The Consultant will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The <br />Consultant will advise the City of data and information the Consultant needs to perform its services <br />and the Consultant will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble <br />this data and information. <br />1.0.8 Dennis Burns, CAPP, Project Manager, is the Consultant's Project Representative assigned <br />to this Project. The Consultant will not substitute another representative for this Project unless <br />approved in writing by the City in advance of such proposed substitution. In the event the City <br />and the Consultant cannot agree to the substitution of the Project Representative, the City may <br />terminate this agreement in accordance with Article 8. <br />1.1 TASK 1— PROJECT START -UP <br />The Consultant will: <br />1.1.1 Review background information. The Consultant will provide a detailed Request for <br />Information ( "RFI ") as part of the project start-up phase. <br />1.1.2 Participate in a Project kick -off coordination conference call with the City. <br />1.1.3 Summarize the refined Project approach for submission to the City for review and <br />approval. <br />1.2 TASK 2 — PARKING MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE/REFINEMENT <br />The Consultant will: <br />1.2.1 Review the 2012 Downtown Parking Initiative report and discuss progress toward <br />implementation since 2012 with City staff. <br />1.2.2 All Parking Management Plan Update/Refinement activities shall be coordinated with <br />Texas State University, Hays County and other key parking management stakeholders. <br />Kimley -Horn and Associates, Inc.
