Dianne Wassenich provided oral and written <br /> presentation regarding phosphates and the need to eliminate them <br /> from our daily use. Stewart Spencer of the Housing Authority stated <br /> the residents were concerned with the number of youth on the streets <br /> and are supportive of a Curfew Ordinance. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of two <br /> appointments to the Sunset Advisory Commission. Mr. Moore moved to <br /> appoint Willard Stouffer, which passed unanimously. The remaining <br /> appointment will be rescheduled. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br /> appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Mr. <br /> Moore moved to appoint Maurice Johnson, which passed unanimously. <br /> It was later determined Dr. Johnson was not eligible to serve at <br /> this time, so this appointment will be rescheduled at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced receiving and reviewing for purchase of the <br /> City's $5,300,000.00 General Obligation Bonds, Series 1994, and <br /> $1,000,000.00 Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, New Series <br />i 1994. six bids were opened for the G.O. Bonds and five bids were <br /> opened for the Revenue Bonds. Vince Viaille of First Southwest <br /> Company, bond consultant, and Rick Fisher, bond counsel, left the <br /> Chambers to review and verify the bids. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br /> adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> * Mr. Guerra present at 8:00 p.m.; Mr. Hart not present at this <br /> meeting. <br />
