Hart moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and INIs. Hu;hson seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration removal from the table and adoption of an Ordinance <br />on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDNANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, CREATING A BIRD SANCTUARY, REGULATING CONDUCT IN CITY <br />PARKS, BROADENING PARK RANGER AUTHORITY, AND DELEGATING <br />AUTHORITY TO SET CERTAIN PARK USE FEES TO THE CITY MANAGER OR <br />PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR, BY AMENDING CHAPTERS 6 - <br />ANIMALS AND 58 PUBLIC FACILITIES, PARKS AND RECREATION, SECTIONS <br />58.026, 58.030, 58.032, 58.036 AND ADDING SECTIONS 6.012, 58.037, 58.038, <br />58.040 AND 58.070; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR PENALTIES. <br />Ms. Hu?hson moved to remove from the table and adoption of the Ordinance as amended and <br />NIr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration reconsideration of a Zoning Ordinance. Guerra moved for approval of the ylinutes and Ms. HuO-hson seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor itiloore introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read <br />as follows: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A LOAN GUARANTEE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR CONTINUATION <br />OF THE TEXAS EAGLE PASSENGER TRAIN SERVICE BY ANITRAK; AND <br />DECLARL,iG AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />y1r. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and,\/fr. Cox seconded the motion. Mr. Hart <br />asked if the city had a continuous liability of S26,000. Mr. Gilley stated yes until December <br />1998 when the debt would be paid. vls. Hu;hson asked if the city was obligated to fund this and <br />NIr. Taylor stated no.
