City Council Meeting Minutes September 20,2016 <br /> on behalf of and represent the City in any hearing held by the Texas Water <br /> Development Board on the application; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 9. Consider approval of Resolution 2016-123R, approving an agreement with the <br /> Greater San Marcos Economic Development Corporation (GSMP) for Economic <br /> Development Services; authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement on <br /> behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br /> A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, seconded by Council <br /> Member Hughson, to approve Resolution 2016-123. Following Mayor <br /> Guerrero's request to make the contract term longer than one year the Council <br /> directed Staff to set up a meeting of a Council subcommittee,composed of the <br /> current Council Members who serve on the GSMP Board, in order to review <br /> the contract further and bring back a recommendation no later than January. <br /> The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt,Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and <br /> Council Member Gregson <br /> Against: 0 <br /> 10. Consider approval of Resolution 2016-124R, approving the purchase of ammunition <br /> for the Police Department from GT Distributors, Inc. through the Texas Local <br /> Government Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard Contract for Public Safety and Fire <br /> House Supplies and Equipment (Contract #432-13) in the estimated purchase amount <br /> of $137,025.22; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the <br /> appropriate purchase documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective <br /> date. <br /> 11. Consider approval of Resolution 2016-125R, approving Standard Forms of Agreement <br /> with Outside Subrecipients and City Departments that establish terms and conditions <br /> regarding the expenditure of Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") funds; <br /> authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute these agreements on behalf of <br /> the City; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 12. Consider approval of Resolution 2016-126R, approving the procurement of lighting <br /> components and installation from Inception Innovations, LLC on a sole source basis in <br /> an amount not to exceed $115,000.00; authorizing the City Manager or his designee <br /> to execute the appropriate procurement documents on behalf of the City; and <br /> declaring an effective date. <br /> A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, seconded by Council <br /> Member Gregson,to approve Resolution 2016-126.
