INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR FUNDING OF SENATE BILL 1 SOUTH <br />CENTRAL TEXAS REGIONAL WATER PLANNING GROUP <br />ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS <br />This Agreement is made and entered into as of the date herein last specified by and <br />between the San Antonio River Authority (SARA), a river authority established under the laws of <br />the State of Texas, the Guadalupe- Blanco River Authority (GBRA), a river authority established <br />under the laws of the State of Texas, the Nueces River Authority (NRA), a river authority <br />established under the laws of the State of Texas, the San Antonio Water System (SAWS), an <br />independent agency established by the City of San Antonio City Council, the Edwards Aquifer <br />Authority (EAA), a special district established under the laws ofthe State of Texas, the Refugio <br />Groundwater Conservation District (RGC'D), a special district established under the laws of the <br />State of Texas, the Victoria County Groundwater Conservation District (VC'GC'D), a special <br />district established under the laws of the State of Texas, the Calhoun County Groundwater <br />Conservation District (Calhoun County GCD), a special district established under the laws of' <br />the State of Texas, the Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation District (Cow Creek GCD), a <br />special district established under the laws of the State of Texas, the Guadalupe County <br />Groundwater Conservation District (GCGC'D), a special district established under the laws of <br />the State of Texas and the City of San Marcos (C'SM), a municipal corporation of the State of <br />Texas, the Hays Caldwell Public Utility Agency (HC'PUA), a political subdivision of the State of <br />Texas, the Canyon Regional Water Authority (C'RWA), a political subdivision of the State of <br />Texas, the Springs Hill Water Supply Corporation (SHWSC'), a nonprofit water supply <br />corporation, and the C'ibolo Valley Local Government Corporation (C'VLC'G), a nonprofit water <br />supply corporation, collectively referred to as the "PARTIFS ". <br />WHEREAS, the 'Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act, Tex. Gov't Code Anti. § 791.001 et <br />seq., authorizes local political subdivisions to enter into agreements liar the provision of <br />governmental and administrative functions and services; <br />Whereas, the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group, established in <br />accordance with Senate Bill 1, 75th legislative Session, is charged with the development of a <br />regional water plan to address the water needs of the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning <br />Area; <br />Whereas, the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group submitted the 2016 <br />Regional Water Plan for the South Central Texas Regional Planning Area (Region L) to the Texas <br />Water Development Board on December 1, 2015; <br />1 <br />
