City Council Meeting Minutes November 1,2016 Absent: 2- Council Member Prather and Council Member Derrick 4. Consider approval of the following: October 14, 2016 - Packet Meeting Minutes October 18, 2016 - Regular Meeting Minutes 5. Consider approval of Ordinance 2016-44 (ZC-16-06), on the second of two readings, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning a 30 acre, more or less, tract of land located west of Old Bastrop Highway approximately one mile south of Posey Road from "FD" Future Development District to "MF-18" Multiple-Family Residential District; and including procedural provisions. 6. Consider approval of Ordinance 2016-45 (ZC-16-07), on the second of two readings, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning a 17.567 acre, more or less, tract of land located between IH-35 and Old Bastrop Highway approximately one mile south of Posey Road from "FD" Future Development District to "CC" Community Commercial District; and including procedural provisions. 7. Consider approval of Ordinance 2016-46 (ZC-16-08), on the second of two readings, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning a 44.5 acre, more or less, tract of land located east of IH-35 approximately one mile south of Posey Road from "FD" Future Development District to "GC" General Commercial District; and including procedural provisions. 8. Consider approval of Ordinance 2016-47, on the second of two readings, appointing John P. Burke, Jr. for a two year term as Presiding Judge of the San Marcos Municipal Court Of Record and reappointing Dr. Vincent Luizzi as Associate Judge of the Court for a two year term; and providing an effective date 9. Consider approval of Resolution 2016-151R, approving the award of a construction contract to Lambda Construction I, LTD. for the Hilltop Substation Upgrade Project (IFB 216-356) in the total amount of $931,848.00 contingent upon the contractor's timely submission of sufficient bonds and insurance in accordance with the City's construction contract documents for the project; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute all appropriate contract documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. A motion was made by Mayor Pro-Tem Thomaides, seconded by Council Member Hughson, to approve Resolution 2016-151R.
