Drainage Design: 60% drainage sheets including preparation of drainage area maps, plan and <br />profiles, and hydraulic computations including: <br />1. Create drainage area map index and drainage area maps for the outfall project. <br />2. Preliminary plan view layouts of the storm drainage system showing drainage areas <br />boundaries, outfall locations, cross culvert locations, cross culvert sizes, inlet locations, inlet <br />sizes, junction box locations, junction box sizes, storm conduit [pipe or box] sizes, slopes <br />and hydraulic grade lines. <br />3. Preliminary cross culvert profiles showing culvert locations, skew, size, elevations, slope, <br />end treatments, and grading requirements. Cross culvert plan and profiles will be provided <br />for all bridge class culverts showing culvert locations, skew, size, elevations, slope, end <br />treatments, headwater and tail water elevations, end treatments and grading <br />requirements. <br />4. Assemble Standard Construction Details. <br />5. Prepare special details, including junction box structural details, special connections and <br />outfall details. <br />J. Water Quality Design: Prepare 60% design plans for water quality features, including typical <br />sections, notes and details. Summary calculation sheet will be included in the plan set. <br />K. Utility Design: Initiate coordination of utility relocations required by the Storm Drain alignment <br />with Public Services Department, and prepare preliminary design of relocations of affected City <br />water and sewer lines. Improvements to the City utilities will include the following: <br />1. Approximately 500 -linear feet Water relocation design sheets, including crossing details. <br />2. Approximately 500 -linear feet of Wastewater relocation design sheets, including plan and <br />profile sheets. <br />L. Tree Protection Sheets, including tree table showing preserved and removed trees. <br />M. Prepare erosion control and sedimentation control (EC&S) sheets, including the SWPPP <br />narrative, EPIC and standard details. EC&S sheets will follow the same sequence for the traffic <br />control plan. <br />N. Provide a list of standards specifications, including draft of special specifications. <br />O. Updated Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost. <br />P. Perform a constructability review and quality control and quality assurance review for the 60% <br />plans. Effort will include updating the construction plans based on comments. <br />Q. Technical memorandum(s) summarizing design decisions; <br />R. Prepare and submit 60% plans to the City. <br />7. PRE -FINAL DESIGN (90%) SUBMITTAL: Address review comments from the 60% design stage and <br />continue the pre -final design of the proposed repair and improvements and will prepare final design <br />submittals at the 90% stage of completion. The submittal will be in accordance with the City's <br />Engineering/CIP Plan Review Checklist and will include: <br />A. Update the general sheets; <br />B. Make modifications to base files; <br />C. Update the Roadway Sheets, details and layouts; <br />D. Update Drainage Design Sheets, special detail; <br />A-5 <br />
