Mr. Hernandez expressed concern with this change and stated the time limit could have a change. It would create a hardship on him to do so on a regular basis. Ms. Hughson and Mr. Mihalkanin stated it was their understanding the discussion could continue later in the meeting if needed. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration reconsideration of a Zoning Ordinance. The Council did not wish to reconsider the Ordinance. The caption of the Ordinance reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING AN 18.2 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 500 BLOCK OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE, FROM "PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO IR-2" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [MEDIUM DENSITY]); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 13, 1996/ approval of an Ordinance on second reading, adoption of three Ordinances on third and final reading, and adoption of eleven Resolutions on consensus. The Council removed Item 8.A./ approval of the May 13, 1996 minutes, Item 8.C. (1), adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, . and Items 8.D. (8), 8.D. (9), 8.D. (10) and 8.D. (11), adoption of ; Resolutions, to be considered separately. Mr. Guerra moved for I approval of the Ordinance on second reading, adoption of the two remaining Ordinances on third and final reading, and adoption of the remaining seven Resolutions on consensus, and Mr. Cox seconded the motion, which passed unaninously. The captions of these Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of Ordinance on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS/ CHANGING THE NAME OF GILLETT STREET TO BURLESON STREET BETWEEN BURLESON STREET AND PROSPECT STREET; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Adoption of Ordinances on third and final reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS/ AMENDING ARTICLE 3 OF CHAPTER 86/ UTILITIES, OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE BY ADDING DIVISION 3/ ON-SITE SEWAGE FACILITIES; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 74.087 OF THE CITY CODE TO PROVIDE t EXCEPTIONS TO THE REQUIREMENT THAT STREETS AND ALLEYS BE ; ABANDONED ONLY IN WHOLE SEGMENTS; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL I PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Adoption of Resolutions: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A COMPROMISE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SEGUIN STATE BANK & TRUST CO., THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND OTHER PARTIES CONCERNING THE PULS FAMILY TRUST¡ AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
