■ Prepare Conformed Plans for Construction. Addenda items will be incorporated in the drawings <br />(1 PDF, 1 CAD, 2-22"x34" Sets, 4-11"x17" Sets) <br />CONSTRUCTION PHASE <br />Meetings and Site Visits. Includes one (1) pre -construction conference meeting and monthly <br />construction phase meetings (3 meetings), monthly construction observation site visits (3 site <br />visits), and substantial and final completion walk-throughs. <br />Provide Construction Phase engineering services including submittal review; response to <br />Requests for Information/Modifications; monthly pay estimate review, and review of change <br />orders. Construction inspection services are not included. <br />RECORD DRAWINGS PHASE <br />■ Prepare Record Drawings based on Contractor Redlines. Deliverables will include: <br />1. Draft Drawings (1 full size to inspectors for review): 1 PDF -11 "x17" Set, 1 DWG <br />2. Final Drawings: 1 PDF, 1 DWG, 2-22"x34" Sets, 2-11"x17" Sets <br />3. Surface to grid conversion scale factor for GIS <br />4. GIS Shape files <br />SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES <br />A. Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Locates. SUE Locates will be provided as a supplemental <br />service as required. Up to 3 locates/potholes are estimated. Locations will be determined after <br />the Preliminary Phase. <br />B. Geotechnical Investigation. A geotechnical investigation will be provided as a supplemental <br />service. Four (4) bores are proposed in the Columbia right-of-way at the intersections of <br />Hazelton (to 10' depth), Advance (to 25' depth), Brown (to 20' depth), and Prospect (to 15' <br />depth). Locations and depths will be confirmed after the Preliminary Phase. <br />CITY RESPONSIBILITES / ASSUMPTIONS IN SCOPE PREPARATION <br />■ City will give prompt notice of any development or other activities that would affect the scope or <br />schedule of the scope of work. <br />■ City will field and document questions during the bidding phase and route technical questions <br />regarding the design to APAI. City will distribute Addenda. <br />■ City will draft and route Change Orders. <br />■ City will provide direction on whether removal or protection of the tree located within the center <br />of the paved intersection Prospect and Columbia is necessary. Tree Mitigation is not included. <br />■ Archeological Surveys are not included in the scope of services. <br />■ Karst investigations and surveys are not included in the scope of services. <br />• Work can be performed within the public right-of-way; no easements are anticipated. <br />■ Pavement restoration will consist of typical trench repair. <br />■ Construction Phase Services were based on an estimated construction duration of 3 months. <br />■ Payment for the SCS application fee (estimated to be approximately $1,475) will be issued by the <br />Cityof San Marcos. <br />A-4 <br />
