San Marcos Regional Airport <br />Minimum Standards <br />4, Furnish fuel storage tanks with am[ rAnum capacity often thousand (1€7,0(30) gallons each <br />for either 10GLt or Jet A. fuel storage tanks shall be ground mounted in properly bunkered <br />and approved closures in a location approved by the Airport Lessor and shall comply with <br />applicable uniform bulWing code standards, fire codes and ordinances, and the <br />recommendations ofthe National Fire Protection, ssociation, <br />5. Provide or make adequate arrangements for motor vehicle parking for its employees and <br />customers. <br />6, Provide personnel on duty during normal business hours seven days a week, <br />2.3 Specialized Aviation Service Operation (WO) <br />A Specialized Aviation Service Operation (BASO) is in Aeronautical Commercial Operator that <br />Is authorized to offer a single or limited service. according to established Minimum Stand ards, <br />Examples of a SA50 include, but are not limited to, the following commercial <br />aeronautical activltles; airciaft maintenance, avlon[cs maintenance, avionics sales, flight training, <br />aircraft charter, aircraft sales, aircraft storage, specialized rnmmercial aeronautical operations, <br />and aircraft refurbishing. <br />A SASO shall: <br />1. Lease front the Airport adequate square footage for a balanced facility including but not <br />limited to. office space, restrooms, lobby, and other activities traditionally associated with <br />the intended facility use. <br />2, Ensure that customers, clients, and/or employees have the appropriate and current FAA <br />pilot's license and current Airman Medical Certificate as necessary. <br />3, Have adequate facilities or arrangements for storing, parking, servicing, and repairing all <br />of its aircraft. <br />4, Provide or make ad euate arrangements for rnDtarvehicte parking far its employees and <br />customers, <br />2.4 Temporary Aeronoutical Commercial AClivity(TACA) <br />A Temporary Aeronautical Commercial Activity is a single aeronautical service offered on a <br />temporary basis without an established place of business on the Airport, Examples of a TACA <br />Include, but are not limited to, mobile versions of Specialized Aviation Service Operations (SASO). <br />The TACA must be permitted by San Marcos Airport and may be denied access to the Airport, San <br />Marcos Airport may or may not allow this type of servicing to exist on the Airport. <br />
