Ordinance 2017-17, on the second of two readings, creating a designated permit <br /> area under Section 82.189 of the San Marcos City Code that allows parking by permit <br /> on both sides of East Grove Street between Mckie Street and CM Allen Parkway, 8:00 <br /> am-11:OOpm, Friday to Sunday, during and including the months of February through <br /> November; amending the traffic register to reflect such designated permit area; and <br /> providing for an effective date. <br /> 7. Resolution 2017-65R, authorizing the submission of an application to The Office of <br /> the Attorney General, Crime Victims Services Division, for a VCLG (Victim Coordinator <br /> and Liaison Grant) in an amount not to exceed $42,000 to continue funding for the <br /> Police Department's Victim's Services Program, to authorize the Interim City Manager <br /> or his designee to execute any and all documents as needed to accept and implement <br /> the grant, if awarded, and to declare an effective date. <br /> 8. Resolution 2017-66R, approving the purchase of radar equipment for 44 police <br /> patrol vehicles for the Police Department from Applied Concepts, Inc ., DBA Stalker <br /> Radar through the Houston-Galveston Area Council Cooperative Purchasing Program <br /> Contract #EF04-15 for Law Enforcement speed detection and video equipment in the <br /> total amount of $98,576,00; authorizing the Interim City Manager or his designee to <br /> execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City and declaring an <br /> effective date. <br /> 9. Resolution 2017-67R, approving the purchase and installation of law enforcement <br /> equipment for fourteen new Ford Police Utility Interceptor vehicles for the Police <br /> Department from Fleet Safety Equipment, Inc. through the Texas Local Government <br /> Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard Contract for Public Safety and Fire House supplies <br /> and equipment (contract #432-13) in the total purchase amount of $180,618.57; <br /> authorizing the Interim City Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate <br /> purchase documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. <br /> 10. Resolution 2017-68R, approving the purchase of Sensus Water Meters as a sole <br /> source procurement for the Public Services Department, Water/Wastewater Utilities <br /> Division from Aqua Metric Sales Company in the estimated amount of $2,388,261.00; <br /> authorizing the Interim City Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate <br /> purchasing documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 11. Resolution 2017-69R, approving an agreement with TMT Solutions, Inc. in <br /> connection with the Surface Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater Treatment <br /> Plant Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems for the Public Services <br /> Department in the total amount of $174,279.82 which includes five years of support; <br /> authorizing the Interim City Manager or his designee to execute the agreement on <br /> City of San Marcos Page 2 <br />
