<br /> /~lfß <br /> Page 3 of 12. <br /> Document approval by the City; <br /> (4) Overseeing, inspecting and approving the construction of the <br /> work covered by the Project Documents and all changes <br /> approved by the Project Manager. <br /> (5) Insuring the work complies with the engineering standards <br /> adopted by the City and included in the Project Documents. <br /> (6) Observing the construction of the Project and maintaining a <br /> diary of the Engineer's observations. <br /> (7) Reviewing monthly progress payment requests submitted by <br /> the Contractor and recommending approval or denial for these <br /> requests. <br /> (8) Preparing a monthly written report addressed to the City and <br /> the DOL setting out all expenditures related to the Project, <br /> including the division of the costs attributable to the City and <br /> the DOL for each portion o(fhe work performed on the Project. <br /> (9) Providing field reports to the Project Manager on construction <br /> progress and the percentage of work completed. <br /> (10) Notifying the Project Manager in advance of any scheduled or <br /> non-scheduled progress meeting in order to give the Project <br /> Manager sufficient time to notify the DOL, or their <br /> representatives in time to attend the meeting. <br /> (11) Reporting to the Project Manager whether or not the <br /> Contractor, in the opinion of the Engineer, is performing the <br /> work in accordance with the Project Documents; and in the <br /> event the Contractor is not, then recommending to the Project <br /> Manager an alternative to obtain the Contractor's compliance. <br /> (12) Preparing and submitting to the City reproducible -and digital <br /> "as-built" construction plans based upon the Contractor's <br /> documents for the Project. <br /> (13) Performing other acts as are normally and reasonably <br /> performed by the Design Professional and Project Engineer on <br /> a this type of project. <br /> c :\0 F F I C E\WPWI N\WP DO C S \}.,IAR I 0.0 R 0 \00 L -A.\lo.M R K <br />
